HiFi Berry DAC2 HD Support + Moode 8 - dmueller - 03-15-2022
Hi All,
Attempting to understand either an issue or what I'm doing wrong.
RPI 4 2gb
HiFi Berry DAC2 HD
Moode 8.0
Not able to get the DAC2 HD to function w/o error. I have applied the DT overly as suggested. Open to suggestions please.
Receiving this error:

In Audio Config try reseting Named I2S device to None then reboot then set to your actual I2S device then reboot again.
I2S device changes always require a reboot because they use Linux kernel drivers which don't support hot plugging like USB audio devices.

Hi Tim --- Thank you for the quick response. I set everything to "none". Rebooted (twice because why not). Set the DT Overlay to the DACPLUSHD, rebooted. Getting the same error.
Let me know how I can help trouble shoot or if I'm still doing something incorrectly.

We will try to get an update out this weekend that includes a kernel bump and bug fixes.
