On/Off switch - CityCentreFox - 04-18-2022 Good Evening Been a user of moOde for a few years now and I am very happy with how it sounds. I am currently using a IQaudio DAC with a raspberry pi 3B+ in a normal case that is stored at the back of my separates system with a 500gb hard drive attached. I wish to place this setup in a full size hi fi case with a screen and power button to safely shut down the pi or just turn the screen off. The pi is currently permanently on. I have looked online at solutions but the only answers I am getting is basically no as I am using a DAC Hat so just turning the screen off with a switch might be a better option? Also I don't need it to be a touchscreen only a display for artwork, track/album titles etc. Is this possible. Kind Regards CityCentreFox RE: On/Off switch - the_bertrum - 04-19-2022 There are many posts on this forum about implementing an off switch. The search function will serve you well. RE: On/Off switch - DRONE7 - 04-20-2022 You are wanting the functionality of an appliance... This add on will do what you want and provide protection from power-line faults. It has been working faultlessly for me. https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/hypnic-power-manager-for-raspberry-pi-and-other-sbcs.371039/ RE: On/Off switch - jmperagine - 05-25-2022 I've been using this on my setup and I'm quite happy with it. https://lowpowerlab.com/guide/atxraspi/?view=all Happy listening! |
