MPD service won't start - zeitchef - 05-12-2022
Since the last couple of hours, I've been getting "MPD Error: OpenMpdSock() failed" notifications in the UI, rendering it unusable.
Checking the syslog and I see the following:

Can you give me an example of a working mpd.conf?

The good news is, if you simply delete /etc/mpd.conf (as root of course) then moOde will generate a new one. See the code at about line 393 in /var/www/command/worker.php
Better figure out what overwrote it, though, or you're likely to be regenerating a lot!
ETA: don't sweat the DCE/RPC error. It's known; annoying but apparently harmless.
