Connecting to WiFi that has an authentication web page - mmcc73 - 07-09-2022 I'd like to set my daughter up with a Moode for use at her university. However, getting on the WiFi there requires authenticating via a web page. If I attach a local touchscreen display, is is possible to access a browser? RE: Connecting to WiFi that has an authentication web page - Tim Curtis - 07-09-2022 You can open a new Chromium tab on an attached display with keyboard Ctrl-T but I don't think that will work because when Linux boots it automatically tries to connect to the configured WiFi SSID and then when moOde goes through it's startup sequence it checks for an IP address for the configured SSID and if there is none it retries a number of times and then goes into AP mode. So, I can configure it with the correct SSID, it should get an IP address, and when the local display comes up I should be able to hit the authentication screen. That's a lot of shoulds, but it is worth a try. Thanks! |
