Well, well, well.
As I was composing my introductory message this afternoon, a message popped into my inbox from Qobuz. This was a user survey message and I thought it prudent to give them a mixed response - good selection, quality etc, but poor third-pary application support. I made a point of asking for better third-party app support and an open API.
The reason I mention this is to encourage anyone else receiving this email, or one from a similar service to consider mentioning that it would be a really good idea to allow third-party app integration and to play nicely with the Open Source community. The more responses like this, the more likely they are to take it seriously.
