Hi from the Netherlands - Farenji - 07-26-2024
Hi!
I am Lennart aka Farenji. From Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I am a former Sonos user, but finally had enough after the disastrous new app launch and months later still basic features missing or broken. So I looked for an alternative and found moode audio (on mastodon actually). Bought another pi to add to the collection, along with a set of active speakers, and here I am.
In my day job I am a freelance PHP developer and open source enthousiast. So it feels extra good to be using moode rather then some closed source system. I may be able to contribute to the project. But for now I am just discovering the system and all its features.
