Hide the volume knob when not used - ils1974 - 04-09-2025
When the volume knob is not used, it's greyed out.
I understand, that wrt the overall layout (and responsive design), it's not evident to just leave out the knob, when not used.
Suggestion: What about just displaying the background in the space being used by the knob, instead of showing a not used knob?

As I've explained in the past, it's very important to show the volume level, especially when it's set to 0dB. Not showing it is a no-go for me.

I've written down my suggestion too fast...
I've always used moOde with an external DAC, feeding the analog signal in a pre-amp. Indeed, if you just leave out the pre-amp, for whatever reason, and send the full output to the amp(s), woofers may fly around the place...
