Hi all,
Coming from Volumio, I'm looking for a new way to power my home setup. Got an RPi running, ready for Moode. I'm pretty familiar with Linux-based distros, so dealing with SMB mounts and MPD will not be too challenging. Most music will be streamed from my NAS, but Spotify will be used too. I saw there's some support for LMS as well - maybe I can even get my trusty old Squeezebox back up and running. Would be fun, always loved the Duet.
I'm a lover of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Space Metal/Symphonic Metal/Space Opera and tinkering with stuff. My daily driver on the road is a bent iPod Classic (bent due to the hard drive being dead and me putting in 1TB of flash) with about 20k songs on it. It's a 1:1 copy of my NAS, but then in ALAC instead of FLAC. Very fun project indeed!

Definitely! Though when I met him last, he claimed to he dead for tax reasons. Odd fellow, he is.
