Hi all,
Just introducing myself so I can get a post under my belt. I have a Hifiberry DAC2 HD incoming (sometime today) in order to repurpose a Pi5 into a music server to replace my (apparently) failed Chord Mojo/Poly combo which I'd been using plugged into my Rega Brio to play my library of approx 20,000 FLAC files. After some research decided that I like the look of MoOde over the other options. With any luck and Royal Mail willing, I should have this up and running later today! Quite excited with this latest iteration of my HiFi journey, which started as a student back in the 80s!

Hi Steve, and welcome aboard.
There are many fellows here that have "refurbished" their own old gear with a fresh moOde, from PiZEROs to Pi5s, so you're not alone.

Thanks, I'm now up and running.
Very straightforward to setup, I now have Spotify Connect working as well as local files controlled by both the web interface on my PC and phone as well as via MPD. Added bonus that I hadn't anticipated is setting up the storage on the Pi as a network share so I can drag and drop files direct from the PC, going to make life a lot easier. I have a (very few) album artwork issues to resolve and then I'll delve into the Radio Stations. Very impressive project and initial listening is very favorable compared to the Chord combo I had been using, especially considering the price!

You can still use the Mojo with moOde, USB being the best choice concerning inputs, so you don't need to replace everything... ;-)
Remember to do a "Update library" every time you transfer files over SMB share, and you'll be ready to go.
Regarding the album-art issues, just post a new thread about it, and you'll quickly get it sorted out.

Yeah art work issue resolved, downloaded the missing images and dropped then in their respective folders as "cover.jpg". Then took me a while to figure out how to get Moode to refresh, but once I found out where that was in the settings it was a breeze.
