Hello Moode enthusiasts – Sharing My First Build - evolutely - 05-21-2025

I’m new to the Moode Audio community and wanted to share my first build. It’s a straightforward setup: a Raspberry Pi 5 running Moode, paired with an Ian Canada transport and two SSD drives. For the DAC, I’m using a slightly modified Mission DAC 5.

The enclosures are handcrafted from walnut wood, designed with a focus on simplicity and a clean aesthetic. The next phase of the build will involve adding a cooling system, as I’ve noticed some heat issues that need to be addressed. This also gives me a chance to make a few design improvements. Looking forward to your feedback and learning from the community!

Wow. Very nice and clean.
Very good woodwork, my compliments!
A very same box, with a display on it would, IMHO, complete the setup in an astonishing way. Or, adding the display to the Pi's box, keeping the button just below it,
Again, wonderful.

I'm already thinking about adding a display—either integrated into the Pi's box, keeping the button conveniently below it, or in a matching standalone box. It’s definitely planned for the next iteration. This current build was more of an initial version, something I really wanted to create and get running. ?

I'll share the complete setup — including the tube amplifier,  tube RIAA preamp, turntable, and reel-to-reel, along with some test results at the end.

Seems like you're serious into gear. I mean, THE gear.
Compliments.
