I have this "Stereo Test" logo on my player screen.
Does anybody know why that appears and how to get rid of it ?

Thanks

Click/tap on it and that should take you to the Library screen.
It appears for setup and testing audio output.

Hi, the issue is that the coverart from Spotify starts to load on the HDMI display but is then overwritten by the moOde player screen like the library or whatever was showing before.
So I think is is looking and finding the artwork but its not showing.

The display resolution as shown in the settings is correct and I see no other issues with the display.
I had to make an adjustment in the .xinitre file but that was only to rotate the display which worked fine.

Could somebody point me in the right direction please.
PS: i installed PeppyMeter as well but when I saw the issue i paused it so I dont think it causes the issue.

Very odd. It looks like the cover image from spotify is not being fully rendered.
Did you try with the meters display completely disabled?

The other image is the cover backdrop. There are Prefs settings: Cover backdrop, Renderer backdrop. This image is rendered before any cover image from spotify.

the meters software uses two Python files which I temporary renamed to disable them. Thats surely a cruet method but I am not a software buff so its difficult for me to disable properly once installed.

Besides the general moOde installation I modified the .xinitrc to turn the screen 180 degrees and I installed the meters.
Both seem to work except for the issue with the artwork.

By the way on my notebook connected via the LAN and browser the artworks shows fine.

Is there any suggestion what I could try ?

I found out how to fix the problem with the renderer.

The GPU option under the display setting has to be switched OFF !
