i just finish  built my a fifopi q7 with a hdmipi pro II   eash plug  on 3.3volt and 5 volt  respectively ,  i have install the good output in moode  : ian canada (i2s-dac)  the x01  or x02  green led is good when playing 44.1 or 48  , if i play someting on moode audio , it show me playback but i have no sound  and try 4 different hdmi cable  ,  i wandering if it is not the i2s pinout thing

Reboot and then post the entire contents of the startup log so people can better understand your configuration.

The log can be viewed via the SSH command moodeutl -l or downloaded via the Logs section in System Config, or via Menu, System info from any of the Config screens. The startup log will be at the end of System info output.

I don't see anything suspicious in the log.

Generic-I2S (i2s-dac) and IanCanada (i2s-dac) both load the exact same i2s-dac passive mode driver which I believe is correct for this board.

a connect to a denafrips aries 15th  , i know the audio work , if i chose usb  for my pc  i hear  perfectly the sound   , i  asume it is maybe un trouble  with the i2s pinout  or the hdmi cable   which  i thinks is more the pinout   anyway i send a email to ian canada   without succes , the guy sais he have all the same with the same dac  and waiting  for an answer from denafrips ,   it is not a dac very user friendly

well the thing i have to try is to use those dip switch on hdmipi pro mk2 as i have already read this document when i buy the product and it it is write the default settings of these dip switch is ps audio format and i have a denafrips ares 15th which is not use the ps audio format , it is the only explenation i can find , i try ps audio format on i2s pinout setting of the denafrips ares 15th but without succes maybe i forgot someting in moode

It is to be expected, as the i2s thing was never thought to be used among (between, TBH) devices, but only on-board, between (among?) chips.
So a standard pinout for a cable, such as an hdmi one, was never thought in the first place, because it was not the use-case the interface was meant to use.
Annoying, I know, but... it is what it is.
A good thing is, that some manufacturers do provide their pinout, so that you may have a choice to get it working, more or less out-of-the-box.
