Solved: samba User/PW ? (8.3.7)
#1
Good Morning,
(8.3.7 - samba, localUSB)

Windows requires User/PW (now) to access the share. Another RPI/moode wouldn't mount it as share.
I tried
Guest/blank
pi/moodeaudio (works with ssh)
pi/moode (out of desperation) .

Can you please tell me what's needed to connect?

I had this running (RPI/moode just as NAS) with an older version of moode. After that failed to boot one day I booted from a spare SD card that has 8.3.7 .

Burn a copy of the latest moOde and use that. It has options to set a password on the SMB share.

In the "Create remote NAS" screen, you put the user/pw of the windows SMB share there and it mounts.
