Moode hangs up

I've been having the same issues in another thread ('Populating playlist by genre').

I did finally manage to recover the log file (/var/log/mpd/log) and it consisted of over 360,000 lines like this:

2025-07-05T14:11:22 exception: No such directory

Is there any way to clear the log before it gets to that size?I suspect the sheer size of the log was contributing to the hang up.
