USB Music source question

Does Moode allow and or have a setting to let a USB drive go to sleep.

When not in use ( ie playing music ) my USB hard drive light seems to intermittently go on and off

There is no setting in moode. You could try investigating the hdparm or hd-idle commands and see if one of them might work on your particular drive.
