i finally manage to make iancanada fifopi q7 II   with the hdmipi pro II   with iancanada (i2s-dac)  output device   , now  if i chose native dsd  all my dsd are output in pcm   , but is i chose dop  the dsd playing in dsd ,    i have a denafrips  wich i am pretty sure it can  can max out   a dsd1024 wich is overkill anyway i know

it is just that if i install that  setup , i would asume  that i can play all the dsd files i have in my music dicography without   converting it

IIRC the I2S interface on Raspberry Pi only supports PCM.

You could ask on the Raspberry Pi Linux repo
https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues

Or maybe ask IanCanada if his stack has an I2S native DSD option.

In any case practically speaking when the DAC decodes DoP the result is identical to native DSD.

ya ok   , thats i figure  , but if i playback a couple of file that i have   : it is in 24/384   and  it seems alsa  downsamble it to 24/192  ,  also  every  music i put it  , it resampe  at 24/192,  so every files that over 24/192 ,  it max out to 24/192    so  maybe it is a hardware config  problem  , my dac support way up that     and the ian canada setup i have support way up that

it is bizarre because in denafrips user manual it is write I2S input support 768KHz in pcm and    also    on the fifopi q7
