Idea: Chromecast support
#1
Hi all,
Unfortunately Apple support Chromecast on Apple Music for Android, so I'm here asking if it's possible to add Chromecast for streaming to the Raspberry Pi.

There would need to be an Open Source version of ChromeCast receiver for Raspberry Pi.
Enjoy the Music!

Which one of these project repos
1. Has an Open Source license attached
2. Supports ALSA interface
3. Is currently being worked on and maintained, and not something thats been abandoned years ago
4. Functions as a standalone daemon like librespot, pleezer, shairport-sync etc
Enjoy the Music!

AFAIK not possible, because getting the Chromecast "receiver" ("server") up and running requires a signed certificate from Google. Which is not possible to reverse engineer, and they don't hand them out except for local testing purposes (and even then, not-for-free).
