Solved: Regenerating music database: Where is the spinner?
#1
I clicked the REGENERATE button to regenerate the music database after updating to version 9.3.0.  There was a dialog that said to stay on the page until the spinner disappears.  I can see on my NAS that there is read activity, but I don't see a spinner.  Am I missing something obvious?

Oh, I guess it's probably referring to the the spinner on the browser tab? If so, never mind!

You should see a "spinner" icon in the upper right of Library Config screen.

I'm not sure what might be happening but does all your music show up in the WebUI Tag, Album, Folder views?

Thanks, I see the spinner now when I regenerate the db. My eye was focused around the "REGENERATE" button and didn't notice the spinner at the top right.

I think by the time I took the screenshot, the music database was regenerated but the thumbnail cache was still being rebuilt (hence the read activity).

Tim, perhaps an addition to the info.. " stay on the page until the spinner (top right) disappears"  or some such.?
