the release seems to be not a problem.
Relating to slave pcm position, if you are earing the music after the installation it means that it is ok. Any way it is the default output address that you saw in the aplay -l

Quote:slave.pcm "hw:0,0"
I already controlled that it is ok.
To try to go on please refere to the post #15 of this thread and let me have the related material and answers.
We will make it happen!!!

Hi,
I went through all the material and noticed it
1) your file system hasn't expanded yet - obviously that can't be the reason for the problem.
2) all your settings are the same as mine: the only difference is system version 6.7.1 vs 7.0.1: if I have enough time, tomorrow I'll build a system with 6.7.1 and check
3) I confirm the action I have already requested:
Code:
Code:- enable "verbose" to the mpd log
- clear system logs
- reboot the system
- start a song or radio
- send me the mpd log ("/ var / log / mpd / log")
Further more could you please send to me the results of the following command?
Code:
Code:ls -lia /var/tmp/peppyfifo
and could you please try, during the listening of music the following command?
Code:
Code:cat /var/tmp/peppyfifo
you should see garbage in the screen and cursor moving with the music change.
Please let me know,
Best regards,
Francesco
Hi
Thank you for your time. I fight as much as I can and I try to convey everything to you honestly.
Now I did so.
I installed the image 7.0.1 and did everything as instructed.
After entering the command
home / pi / peppyalsa / src / peppyalsa-client / var / tmp / peppyfifo
everything works. I can see stripes that move to the beat of the music.
Maybe it's really the fault of version 6.7.1?
Now I will finish the installation and enjoy a moment with music from the radio and a working display
Will I always have to do it manually to switch between GUI and peppy?
