UPDATE: I have managed to connect MANUALLY - YAY!
I entered 192.168.1.116/Robin FLAC in the manual entry field and saved it and it has magically appeared and has Indexed the NAS Drive.
The mistake I had made was to assume that the USB Drive was called "USB" ... it should be the USB Drive Name. I did say that I was a complete noob with Linux but I got the clue by searching the Network for available shares on my Android Phone.
I haven't a clue as to why my network (Router Switch) is blocking the Search function. - Robin
