but across versions this cloning scenario works for me. Just have to remember to make a new clone after an upgrade.
If you clone a moOde version 7.6.1 MicroSD card and put it into another Raspberry Pi, it's still version 7.6.1. I don't see how making a bit-for-bit replica of the MicroSD card would help to migrate the configuration across versions from, say, from moOde version 7.6.1 into moOde version 8.0. Did I misunderstand what you were proposing?
