I have 3 RPI's 3B+ with hifiberry DAC+ pro sound cards.
I tried multiple software packages like volumio and hifiberryos.
Decided to standardise on moode audio 8.2.4 for the following reasons:

- support for MPD and UPNP renderers
- spotify connect
- airplay
- samba
- dlna server

Moode audio give me the most flexible and stable solution for my needs.
