Unusual behavior with generic touchscreen?

Since you don’t specify what you did, it’s hard to know what’s not working. On a vanilla moOde install, you should need only enable the local display (m > Peripherals). No additional packages are needed in 9.1.4 and certainly not a display manager.

I did a fresh install on the latest and it did work as expected so maybe something was off in the previous build? Either way, very happy and appreciate the reply! Now to get a 3D printed case for the screen and pi so it looks nice in my audio setup
