Be aware that if the IP address of your NAS changes (example, because you're using DHCP address mode and your router hands out a different IP address to your NAS the next time you boot up your systems) then moOde will lose sight of the remote share. 

If the hostname of your NAS host is, for example, mynas, then using "mynas/Music" or "mynas.local/Music" as the library path should work equally well and won't be affected by the problem I mention above. [I don't have a local DNS resolver on my LAN so I would have to use "mynas.local/Music"]

Still curious that the SCAN function didn't work for you.
