The files you provided are working fine here too. I get the same results Tim has already posted. Command line utilities such as flac and metaflac are happy with them.
It's weird that your player reports "File does not exist" in several places for the track selected yet lists the details of the track and mpd appears to be playing it. Off the top of my head, I don't have a plausible explanation for that.
