"Polygon" is a Devolo dLAN 550 wifi hub. It uses poweline networking to connect to a port on my main domestic router (the other wifi device I tried) which is a Technicolor DGA0122 supplied by my internet provider.
The Devolo device is currently providing wifi to a couple of laptops, four phones/tablets, and a few iot devices. I've never had a problem with it.
