I remember in the past at least one problem, if not entered correctly, was not being able to access ANY other page than the library and/or the now-playing ones...
Then: YOU DO NOT need to change the password for user PI in the first place. You can indeed, but you don't need to.
That is a message just telling you that you can.
At that prompt, however, you can enter ANY command we have been telling you to, including that for getting the startup log.
