Problem: openMpdSock(): Error: connection failed (5) 110, Connection timed out

It could be the device setting in the backup but that setting is also in a 9 backup and I've done tons of restores and its never caused an issue.

There is a new setting: close_on_pause = "yes" in MPD 0.24 and possibly the restore section is not handling the situation where its not in the backup file as would be the case for an 8 backup. I did take a quick look at the autocfg.php code and nothing looked suspicious.

I do not know whether this is still of any interest since 8.x is history.

I reproduced the situation:
As soon as I import the 8.x ini, the device selector in the UI is set to device 0:HDMI 1.
But sound is played over the IS2 device!

The list shows three devices, HDMI1, HDMI2 and the Audiophonics.
But when I try to select the latter, the setting jumps always back to HDMI1.
I can select HDMI2, though, and thereafter also the Audiophonics device.
This is then the moment when mpd freezes as soon as I try to play a track.

I'm always interested in fixing bugs. I assume you rebooted after importing the settings, correct?

I'll try to repro when I get some spare cycles.
