Idea: Dead Air Alarm
#1
Upgrade Request

This request is to incorporate a ‘Dead Air Alarm’ feature.  The ‘DAA’ option is to recover from issues that cause the stream to cease to play for reasons unknown.
Here is what I see this option doing:
  1. DAA enable/disable.
  2. Set backup stream (backup stream URL)
  3. Average level considered as dead air.  Minus 20 dbM0 default.  Settable from -15 to -35 dbM.
  4. Time output is below dead air level.  Default 60 seconds.  Settable from 30 to 180 seconds.
  5. Action to take when alarm is tripped.
    1. Log time and if known, cause.
    2. Re-stream URL initially selected.
    3. If alarm is re-tripped after re-streaming original URL, load and stream backup URL.
    4. Log time and if known, cause.

Open Radio Manager and enable the built in Stream Monitor, then edit any stations you which to monitor and set "Monitor" to "Yes"

ETA: Be sure to read the (i) help for these options to understand how they work.
