Hi folks, bit of a strange one…I can access Moode just fine on my Macbook, but for some reason, when I try to use both iPad or iPhone, I can see Moode, maybe be able to click on my music file, but then it mostly freezes.
I've done the obvious - reboots, powered off the Pi, installed latest updates, made sure only one point of access is running, etc. to no avail. It can't be to do with Moode because I'm able to access everything just fine on the Macbook.
Any help & suggestions would be very welcome!

Hi Tim, just a BT wireless network, Pi next to router & connected via ethernet cable.

Are all the WiFi devices on the same band either 2.4G or 5G?
IIRC some Routers do "smart" auto-band switching which means you can end up with some clients on 5 and others on 2.4

OK Tim, I've tried switching the Pi's wifi off & just using the ethernet connection, switching the Pi wifi between 5 & 2.5, reset the router, changing the iPad wifi between the two also. I've run out of things to try now. It's very strange, considering my Macbook's connected via wifi also & yet that works just fine.

Things get stranger…Using my wife's spare Google phone, I can log on to moOde just fine. This does appear to be something to do with the iPad/iPhone operating system. I've also tried using various different browsers, to no avail.

Seems something obscure must be going on with your networking environment.
I have never had an issue accessing and using moOde players from iPad Mini, various model iPhones, Google phones, LInux and MS Windows laptops---this on a LAN with full IPv4 and IPv6 support on Ethernet and WiFi (both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).
Regards,
Kent

Strange indeed. Thing is, a couple of weeks ago, using same iPad & everything else, this worked just fine. Just tried an old (and glacially slow) Acer pad & that works fine too. The only thing different is an update to iPad/iPhone the other day.

Would that update be the new iOS 18.4.1?
