No picture in coverview, small thumbnails are ok

I tried to search for a similar issue and found only some discussion from 2019. I have a problem where the coverview doesn't show any picture, but the small thumbnails in the list of what is playing or to be played shows everything just fine.

My music files are .flac (if that matters) and they reside on a NAS in the local network. I'm using NFS and the Path is 192.168.1.150/Media/MusicFiles. 

Where should I look for more information on what might be going wrong? I checked /var/log/mpd/log, but it doesn't show any errors. Database generation (and re-generation) finish fine as well without errors.

Could be an issue with the file thats causing the code that fetches the audio format to return "File does not exist".

How was the file created?

It is all the files. None of them in my lib show the large cover photo while all small thumbnails are fine. The files have been extracted from original CDs to FLACs using Exact Audio Copy (EAC).

Is the code for thumbnails different for the cover art image?

The thumbnails are separate images generated from the main cover.

Prolly best to zip up a couple files and PM a download link to myself, @TheOldPresbyope and @Nutul. One of us will analyze the files and try to reproduce your issue.

I'm not able to repro the issue with the files you provided. The file metadata looks ok.

           
           

It's not obvious to me what might be happening on your end to cause the breakage that affects all the files in your collection.

One thing you could try is to turn on your Browsers Javascript console and see if there are any errors related to the missing image.
