Well, flashing and running Rapberry Pi OS (Debian) did also not work for the Pi 5. So I guess I need a better power supply for that one. Or the board has a problem.

Will try the same for the Pi Zero 2W ...

Best to get an official Raspberry Pi power supply for the Pi 5B. There's many sketchy "5 volt" power supplies out there that not only don't supply enough current but also have very poor voltage regulation. In my case, with a Pi 5B- 4GB board and the official supply. The LED illuminates red momentarily when power is applied, then goes green and stays green as moOde boots.

When I flash the SD card for the Pi Zero 2W with the standard Raspberry Pi OS (Debian) and enable the wifi in the Imager, then it also does not connect to the wifi.
I have not enough knowledge of Linux commands to investigate this further.
